Working with Maria for our NLV application has been an absolute pleasure and a godsend. Whilst living in Scotland, we met regularly online with Maria (her communication ethos is fabulous). Our application got caught up in the student backlog in Murcia taking 13 weeks to be processed, but Maria supported us throughout the anxious waiting period, reassuring us. On arrival in the Murcia area, Maria’s thorough and empathetic support continued as we struggled to secure a Padrón appointment, resulting in our TIE appointments needing rescheduled. Maria did the negotiating for us via live phone call, something we would have really struggled with as the Town Hall is a daunting place with long queues of all nationalities chasing the few appointments. I would 100% recommend Maria’s service to anyone wishing to move to Spain. Yes completing the relevant paperwork is straightforward as there are checklists available etc. but if you stumble into an issue, due to Brexit regulations, public holidays, staff shortages etc. you benefit greatly from having her thorough experience and guidance, either in person if based in the Malaga region, or online / telephone. I was in a hurry to get my visa and collating the document was a lot of work, Maria has a fabulous process and helped with arranging documents, having them certified and translated.Maria also submitted the visa on my behalf and dealt with the additional requirements during the ever changing process.

I cannot recommend Help at Hand Spain enough. Maria was pivotal in helping me when I first arrived. I felt like she was in my corner helping me navigate my new surroundings. Bureaucracy can be frustrating. Maria was always available by phone and her prompt responsiveness alleviated some of that stress. She helped me with reviewing my rental agreement. obtaining my DNI, Padron and social security.

She also has an abundance of resources for other services, for example, she gave me some options for tax services & private insurance brokers. She’s knowledgeable and well connected. She can help you!

Maria is literally the best. Maria helped me with every step of the Digital Nomad Visa (DNV) process, including making sure I had all the correct and up-to-date information, and she triple checked all of my paperwork. She made sure I understood the process, requests, and next steps at all time. This is after another firm really dropped the ball, and Maria picked me up as her client last minute.

The answers to many questions are not found on the internet. There was a question about the criminal records. The immigration authorities at first asked us for the criminal records from Canada, but since we've been living all of our time in Spain we didn't need to do them. Maria had to go back and forth with immigration about this subject until it was agreed that we didn't have to supply our criminal records to them from Canada.
